During each worship service, children are welcomed to the front of the sanctuary where the sermon is taught at their level. Through puppets, activities, or concept lessons, the theme of the day is presented so that even our youngest attenders can understand. Sometimes, even the adults’ understanding is enhanced.
Children in grades K-2 are invited to participate in Children’s Church. The program is held during the worship service, beginning after the Children’s Sermon and concluding when the service does. The program runs from September through May. Children’s Church provides worship activities designed to help children grow as worshipers and to prepare them to participate in the worship service. This program is not traditional Sunday school. It is exclusively focused on worship. Visiting children, regular, and infrequent attenders within grades K-2 are always welcome.
